For Albany Common Council

"My vision of Albany is a city where everyone has the freedom to build a life for themselves."
Dave has been a proud resident of Albany for 10 years and works as a Financial Analyst for the New York State Department of Public Service. In this capacity, he regulates utility companies, such as National Grid. As it says in his personal email signature, “I spot the human story behind the financials.”
In this election, the top three issues of Dave’s campaign are public safety, the cost of housing, and business development. This means building a relationship with the police department to improve patrols and oversight in the neighborhood. It means increasing the availability and affordability of our housing stock throughout the City. And it means promoting quality businesses that provide good-paying jobs across the Capital Region. But underlying all of this, it means revitalizing a sense of community and social solidarity among our citizens.
“My vision of Albany is a city where everyone has the freedom to build a life for themselves. But it is difficult to convey a welcoming message when the cost of living says to go away. The way I would measure my success is to see more people eagerly moving into and enjoying this city, without hesitation”
In his spare time, Dave enjoys going to trivia nights, hosting pool parties in the summer, and singing karaoke at Rocks on Fridays.
